Condition: 1940 Eagle Clothes Cougar Overcoats advertising brochure/ poster mailer with material sample, keychain medallion, cover letter, and original NYC postmarked envelope - all in good condition for 80+ year old ephemera. 1) Four page brochure/ poster ©1940, with alpaca fabric sample, many illustrations, also has oily spots from alpaca wool sample, though this is not as evident on the open 10.5"x16" “poster.” 2) Copper keychain medallion features Cougar on one side, Lucky Horseshoe on other. Beaded copper chain slightly bent. 1.25" 3) Cover letter has a spot from alpaca wool sample; 5"x8" printed on gold paper. 4) Envelope has tears at top, some soiling, yellowed with age. The address has been digitally blurred for privacy only for photos. Has 6 cent stamp and NY Madison Square postmark.
